Improvement East

WELCOME

Improvement East is the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (RIEP) for the East of England.

There are nine Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnerships (RIEPs) in the UK and were created in April 2008 with a three-year funding package from Communities and Local Government (CLG). The RIEPs comprise partnerships of councils and other local service providers. We all work together to achieve efficiency savings, improve authority performance, drive economic growth and deliver excellent Local Area Agreement (LAA) outcomes.

Partners include all 58 local and fire authorities across our region together with the East of England Regional Assembly (EERA), the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA), the Audit Commission, the Government Office for the East of England (GO-East) and the East of England Development Agency (EEDA).
