ABOUT Regional Improvement and efficiency partnerships
Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnerships (RIEPs) were created in April 2008 with a three-year funding package from Communities and Local Government (CLG). There are nine RIEPs throughout the English regions which are co-ordinated by the national programme office hosted at the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA).
All RIEPs are partnerships of councils and other local service providers working together to deliver excellent Local Area Agreement (LAA) outcomes, achieve efficiency savings and support economic growth and community empowerment.
