EXECUTIVE ADVISORY GROUP (EAG)
The Executive Advisory Group (EAG) provides strategic guidance and support to our Member panel as well as having delegated responsibilities from them. The EAG meets around four times a year, usually ahead of Member panel meetings and meets jointly with the Member panel at least twice a year.

Chair: Andrea Hill, chief executive - Suffolk County Council
Vice-Chair: John Campbell, chief executive - North Hertfordshire District Council
- 16 chief executives - representing all unitary, county and district authorities chosen by their peers from across the region
- a chief fire officer from a fire and rescue authority - nominated by all fire and rescue authorities in the region
- the deputy regional director of places, partnerships and performance: Government Office for the East of England
- a regional associate from Local Government Improvement and Development
- head of operations for the East of England from the Audit Commission
- a representative from the East of England Local Government Association
- a representative from the Public Sector People Managers' Association (PPMA)
- a representative from the East of England Development Agency (EEDA)
- a representative from NHS East of England
