EXECUTIVE ADVISORY GROUP (EAG)

The Executive Advisory Group (EAG) provides strategic guidance and support to our Member panel as well as having delegated responsibilities from them. The EAG meets around four times a year, usually ahead of Member panel meetings and meets jointly with the Member panel at least twice a year.

Who's who in the Executive Advisory Group

Chair: Andrea Hill, chief executive - Suffolk County Council
Vice-Chair: John Campbell, chief executive - North Hertfordshire District Council

• 16 chief executives - representing all unitary, county and district authorities chosen by their peers from across the region 
• a chief fire officer from a fire and rescue authority - nominated by all fire and rescue authorities in the region
• the deputy regional director of places, partnerships and performance: Government Office for the East of England (GO-East)  
• the deputy chief executive of the East of England Regional Assembly (EERA) 
• a regional associate from the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA)
• head of operations for the East of England from the Audit Commission
• a representative from the Public Sector People Managers' Association (PPMA) 
• a representative from the East of England Development Agency (EEDA)
