MEMBER PANEL

Our Member panel exists to co-ordinate, challenge, support and accelerate the drive for improvement and efficiency in the East of England. The panel provides strategic direction and leadership to Improvement East and the Executive Advisory Group (EAG) provides high-level guidance and support to the panel. The panel is chaired by Cllr Richard Stay, deputy leader of Central Bedfordshire Council (above). 

The panel is currently being reconstituted. As a result of the dissolution of the East of England Regional Assembly (EERA), the Improvement East Member Panel will now form part of the East of England Local Government Association. A new Member Panel will be formed to reflect these new arrangements.  Once the East of England LGA has decided the size and make-up of the new Panel, the political groups will make appropriate appointments.
