REGIONAL IMPROVEMENT AND EFFiCIENCY STRATEGY (RIES)

The Regional Improvement and Efficiency Strategy (RIES) sets out the vision and strategic direction for Improvement East over the period 2008-2011.

The Strategy was published in April 2008 following the publication of the National Improvement and Efficiency Strategy (NIES) which established the 9 Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnerships in the country.

The RIES sets out a number of high-level priorities for Improvement East which were established through a thorough consultation process in the region, and also take into account the expectations of the NIES.
