Norwich in race to become UK city of culture

Norwich is in the race to become the UK's first city of culture. Four cities are vying for the prestigious accolade including; Birmingham, Derry/Londonderry, Sheffield and Norwich from our region.

They were shortlisted by an independent judging panel, whose recommendations were accepted by the Secretary of State, Ben Bradshaw and the winning city is expected to be announced in the summer.
