BPI Skills Development: PM-01:Managing Successful Programmes (OGC) Overview (Aspire)

Venue: Hilton Hotel, Stanstead
Date: 16/02/2010
09:00 - 16:30

Managing Successful Programmes is the de-facto standard developed by the UK government for delivering change programmes in the UK.

This FREE 1 day overview workshop, delivered by Aspire is designed to be as interactive and practical as possible in the time available. An expert practitioner, experienced in the application of Programme Management in a Local Authority environment, will deliver the workshop which will introduce delegates to some of the key concepts of Programme Management and the processes that should be followed to achieve a successful outcome. The workshop can lead to a nationally recognised level 3 award accredited by EDI following an assessment exercise. It can also act as a very effective preparation for further Programme Management qualifications.

What is it?
Many local government change projects have common objectives and a vision of transforming services in line with customer needs. This requires a consistent management of diverse change projects to achieve shared visions across different initiatives and ensure interdependencies are managed as part of an overall programme. MSP is the de facto standard developed by the UK government for delivering change programmes in the UK.

Who should attend?
Business Process Improvement, Lean or Transformation Practitioners; Business Change Managers and Change Agents; Programme Leaders, Programme office staff; Project Teams.
