Sustainability and Growth - the Challenges and Opportunities in the Region

This event will focus on sustainability and growth in the region and what it means for those involved with LSPs and LAAs.

Sessions include:

• Climate Change and the Role of LSPs Across the East: David Webb, Regional Climate Change Programme Manager & Carly Leonard, Programme Manager, Climate East (Regional Climate Change Partnership) will talk about the challenges to the region around climate change, investigate how LSP's can fulfil their important role in the regions low-carbon, well adapting future and illustrate why considered communication of climate change is so important.
• Sustainable Communities Act: What does it mean in the East? An update from authorities in the region.
• Creating the Greenest County: Matt Hullis, Specialist Leader - Environment Strategy at Suffolk County Council discusses the work taking place to make Suffolk the greenest county
• There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues from across the region and to discuss the issues in more detail.
