Start Date: 20/04/2010 10:00:00
End Date: 20/04/2010 15:00:00

This one day FREE conference and workshop will examine the findings of the Social Impact Measurement (SIM) project. Commissioned by Improvement East and the East of England Development Agency (EEDA), the SIM project undertook work to enable third sector organisations - in particular social enterprises - to trade more effectively with the public sector, and to support public bodies sourcing from the third sector.

Audience
Local authority officers responsible for procurement strategies, commissioning services, social enterprise or third sector development plus third sector organisations and business support organisations.

Why you should attend?
  • as a local authority you will identify ways and benefits of working with third sector organisations and the means to measure those benefits
  • as a third sector organisation you will find out how you can improve your chances of winning public sector contracts
  • as a business support organisation you will understand the support and assistance desired by third sector organisations.
