mietool
Mietool (measurement of improvement and efficiency tool) is a tool developed by Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnerships (RIEPs) to support Local Authorities in assessing, planning and monitoring the delivery of high quality, low cost public services. It is a major resource for local authorities, designed to:
» help authorities to measure the efficiency impacts of projects and to provide the information for NI 179
» help with the planning and evaluation of all improvement projects.
All new efficiency projects commissioned through Improvement East will be required to undergo evaluation through mietool.
To support this use of mietool Improvement East has issued free copies to each authority in our region, if you don't know how to access the tool in your authority please email mietool@tribalgroup.co.uk for a copy to be sent to you directly.
Improvement East runs regular training sessions on mietool which are free to attend for anybody from an authority in the East of England. Details of upcoming training sessions can be found below.
