Procuring your insurance services - consider this...

30/07/2012

All authorities, particularly district and borough authorities, who have a potential insurance services contract renewal of March 2013 or later should be considering the new national GPS / PRO5 framework for their next available procurement of insurance and / or brokerage services.

Improvement East will be hosting a workshop on the afternoon of Wednesday 19th September at Homerton College, Cambridge. This event will be supported by Government Procurement Service and PRO5 and will be specifically targeted at smaller public sector organisations. Category and industry experts will be on hand to provide advice designed to help you reduce your premiums through better risk management. They will also provide assistance to guide authorities through using the new national framework – you can even sign up for this on the day!

The event is fully funded by Improvement East and FREE to local authority / fire and rescue colleagues in the East of England. Organisations outside of the East of England are welcome to attend but a small administrative fee of £50 will be charged.

Please note that there are only 30 places available which will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. If this event is over-subscribed, then places will be allocated in the following preference:

  • Fire and Rescue Services, district council and borough councils within the East of England
  • Other public sector within the East of England
  • Fire and Rescue Services, district council and borough councils outside the East of England
  • Other public sector organisations outside the East of England
