Improvement East's Summer Picnic 2009
The Improvement East Summer Picnic is now closed. Thank you to all authorities who submitted their applications to meet the 18 September deadline. We have had a whopping 53 out of our 58 authorities (52 local authorities and six fire and rescue services) in the East of England apply for their £10,000 allocation. This is to use on items such as an operational assessments for Fire and Rescue Services or Councillor Mentoring Schemes. Some authorities chose their own training under the Bring Your Own (BYO) option. Click here to see these alternatives. You now have until 28 February 2010 to take up the support.
For further information or any queries relating to the Summer Picnic, please contact jane.sullivan@improvementeast.gov.uk or call 01284 7258307.
What do I have to do and when?
28 February 2010. Deadline for you to have taken up the support.
31 March 2010. Deadline for submitting invoice and evaluation forms to Improvement East.
How much can I claim?
An allocation of £10,000 is available for each Local Authority and Fire and Rescue Service. This does not have to be with one provider, the amount can be split across two (or more) providers. To ensure prompt reimbursement from Improvement East, you need to have submitted your invoice to us by 31 March 2010. Invoices received after that date will not be paid. Please ensure that you use the checklist when making your claim and submit an evaluation of the support you received.
